Study: Theology

THEOLOGICAL STUDIES AT TRINITY COLLEGE

The Faculty of Divinity offers interdisciplinary theological study with academic rigour:聽Master of Theological Studies,听Master of Divinity,听Master of Arts,听Master of Theology,听Doctor of Philosophy听补苍诲听Doctor of Ministry. Both the MTS and MDiv are available with a Concentration in Orthodox and Eastern Christian Studies.

For those not pursuing full degrees, but desiring to explore theological studies or acquire some initial preparation for degree level work, we offer a 7-course Certificate in Theological Studies. In this program, students can focus their certificate in Anglican Studies, Biblical Studies, Diaconal Ministry, Ethics, Liturgy, Pastoral Studies and Eastern Orthodox Studies.

We are committed to providing opportunities to deepen and enrich the understanding of Scripture, Christian theology, Church and society. As a full or part-time student, you will enjoy exceptional resources and opportunities for academic and professional development with our outstanding teaching staff.

THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION AT TRINITY COLLEGE

As a theology student at Trinity, you can enjoy the remarkable resources of one of North America’s most significant research universities, including access to a library system without parallel. You can choose from hundreds of course offerings in all areas of theological study on the University of Toronto campus.

Our 91自拍视频 is intimate and vibrant, ecumenical and international. Recent students have come to Trinity from across Canada and the United States, as well as Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa, Caribbean and Scandinavia. Our current students include Anglicans, Eastern Orthodox, as well as individuals from many other Christian traditions. Some are ordained but many more are lay people pursuing advanced theological study for a variety of vocational goals: academic teaching and research, social justice work and ministerial advancement. Included among our graduates are parish clergy, bishops, diocesan and national church administrators, and members of theological faculties throughout the world.
